What goes up must come down

We reached another exciting restoration milestone — the scaffolding that has wrapped the house for the better part of 9 months started coming down!

We removed it from the front of the house to begin work on the front porch. How exciting to finally be able to see the new mansard roof and all of the incredible details of the fully restored dormer windows from Prospect Street.

A quick review of the restoration of the mansard level so far:

  • new mansard roof

  • custom millwork to match original

  • historical paint analysis

  • window restoration

  • new custom storm windows

  • tuck pointing and chimney repair

We’re thrilled with our restoration team and with the result!

Now, on to the front porch….
